Japan has always held a special place in the Forte Ears journey. From the passion of the local audiophile community to the care and attention given to every listening session, each visit has left us with meaningful conversations, valuable impressions, and lasting memories.
This summer, we are proud to make our way back for Potafes Summer 2026, where we will be presenting our latest creation, Violetta.
Violetta marks a new chapter for Forte Ears. First heard in early prototype form across various shows as Fool and later Prototype V, this project has travelled through countless listening sessions, feedback rounds, and careful refinements before arriving at its final form. Built around Riccardo Yeh’s vision of a pure single dynamic driver architecture, Violetta represents a different kind of pursuit: one focused on refinement, resonance, and emotional realism rather than complexity for its own sake.
At the heart of Violetta lies the belief that an IEM can feel closer to an instrument than a mechanical device. Its wood shell, resonance-led acoustic design, and carefully built driver system were developed to create a presentation that feels natural, intimate, and lifelike. Warm vocals, open air, realistic imaging, and richly textured dynamic driver bass form the foundation of its sound.
Potafes Summer 2026 will be a wonderful opportunity for us to share Violetta with the Japanese community in person. Whether you have followed the project since its prototype stage or are hearing about it for the first time, we warmly invite you to visit us, spend time with the IEM, and share your impressions with our team.
